Randy Johnson
Randy Johnson has been guiding with Getaway Adventures for over 15 years. He loves taking guests out to new and interesting wineries and enjoying good food and conversation. Over the years Randy has explored ever nook and cranny of Wine Country and can answer all your questions about the wine making process. In addition to his guide duties, Randy is also President and CEO of Getaway Adventures.

Karli Styles
Karli is the office manager of Getaway Adventures and has been working with us for about a year. Her's is the sultry voice that will lead you through the booking of your tour reservation, and give you last minute directions if you call the morning of your tour. Her sarcasm and wit is known throughout the office and guide core, although callers will probably always assume she is always sweet as peaches.

Tom Scott
Tom Scott is a self described "oenophile" and "foodie". He has been guiding with Getaway for more than six years, the longest of any of our guides, and his knowlege of the area's wine is almost encyclopedic. Feel free to converse with Tom Scott in any of the 8 languages he speaks fluently, from German to Urdu, and no topic is taboo. Be assured, if you tour with Tom you are in the hands of a true expert.

Jen Scott
Jen Scott has been touring with Getaway Adventures for over 4 years. She loves to show guests our great organic and biodynamic wineries in the region, and is also extremely knowlegeable about the flora and fauna of the region. Jen does bike, kayaking, and hiking tours, where her laid back style always goes down well. In addition to tours, Jen moonlights as a farmer and herbalist.

Gigi Tischbern
Gigi has been touring with Getaway Adventures for three seasons. She loves mountain biking, wine and the outdoors. Gigi regularly takes time off for triathlons with her husband Ed and in the winter she works at a ski shop. Gigi has more energy at 8 in the morning than most of us have all day, and tours with her are smooth and fun. The last few seasons Gigi has also been taking wine classes, so make sure to ask her the difficult questions. E.g. "Gigi, would you say this varietal grows better in alluvial silt or volcanic soils?"

Mary Carmen
Mary Carmen started with Getaway Adventures last year and quickly became a favorite with our guests. A lot of her wine knowlege comes from helping her brother at his winery and also growing grapes of her own. If her amazing lunches don't win you over, her smile will. Mary Carmen is also very knowlegeable about the plants and herbs in the area and leads hikes as well as wine trips.

Andrew Yatteau
Andrew is a full time student at Sonoma State, but you can find him on weekends and breaks leading our kayaking and bicycling trips. He grew up in Sonoma County and knows the Russian River like the back of his hand. Always down to discuss sports, wine and the outdoors- you're sure to have a good trip and mellow day.

Devin Price
Devin has been guiding with Getaway Adventures for 2 years. He grew up in Sonoma County, and loves taking people on his favorite bike rides through the Dry Creek and West County. You might find Devin on any tour, from the Multiday to the Kayak trips. He might also answer the phone and take your tour reservation, as they try to trick him into working in the office whenever possible.

Karen Buchanan
If you go on tour with Karen you will be hearing much about Zinfandel. Yes, Karen is a true fanatic of this spicy Mediterranean varietal. She is even planning a trip to Croatia to pay homage to the birthplace of the vine. Tours with Karen are a pile of fun, and most people do not mind being indoctrinated into the fold. When Karen is not bicycling or drinking Zin, she might be found teaching high school.

Bill Adams
Bill has a full time sales job and is a huge mountain biker- but when we can convince him to skip Annadale and the office for the day, he'll come help us with our larger group events. Bill's relaxed style will have you on the road and smiling in no time.

Becca Van Donk
Becca was born in Fremont, California but has lived in 3 different countries and 13 different cities, so when people ask her where she’s from, she says, "Take your pick!" She graduated from Point Loma Nazarene University with a Philosophy major and Vocal Performance minor, so if you’re lucky, she’ll serenade you with an Italian aria after teaching you about Italian wine. She’s also an aspiring photographer, so bring your camera to get your picture taken in beautiful Sonoma and Napa counties!
