Do you love the outdoors? Love everything that Sonoma County has to offer the outdoor enthusiast? Annadel State Park has so much to offer anyone wanting to get out and enjoy the great outdoors! Annadel State Park is the perfect setting for anyone interested in mountain biking, it offers a great trail system with over 35 miles of trails to ride, and also offers some of the best hikes in the county Unfortunately Annadel is on the list of state parks that are set to be closed down. But, there is a lot you can do to help keep Annadel open. Here are a few of our suggestions:
- Check out Third Street Ale Works and Brewery where you can drink some of their tasty Annadel Pale Ale, and even purchase a Save Annadel t-shirt. The proceeds of these sales will be donated to the Parks Alliance.
- Participate in the Third Annual Annadel Half Marathon, a fundraiser supporting the state park.
- Buy an annual pass to the state parks from the California State Parks Foundation
- Donate now and VeloStreet will match every dollar donated up to $15,000. Check them out here
- Purchase a Sonoma County Regional Parks membership for yourself or a membership gift card for a friend
- Make a donation to the Sonoma County Regional Parks Foundation, which has a special fund established to support ongoing operations at Annadel.
- Participate in the Annadel XC Race. A portion of the registration fees go directly to helping keep Annadel Sate Park open. You can also read a bit more information about last years race here in which $27,000 was raised to help save state parks!
