1. Foss Creek Trail — · Flat & Paved · All Ages
This is the family ride in Healdsburg. The Foss Creek Trail is the only option if you want to ride without worrying about cars. It's relatively flat, making it an ideal choice for families, starting in North Healdsburg winding along Foss Creek's green banks to the Russian River. Little ones can manage the whole thing without complaint, and the Plaza makes a perfect stop for ice cream or a snack.
2. West Dry Creek Road Out and Back- Rolling Hills- Paved Road
This is our most popular ride and is suitable for kids that are strong bike riders on their own or younger riders that ride in a kid’s trailer or on an add-a-bike attached to mom or dad’s bike. This is a low traffic country road that finds more cyclists on it than cars. You can make this ride as long or short as you like.
3. Magnolia Loop- Flat- Paved Road
This is another option on a road with very little traffic and surrounded by vineyards. This road is a loop so there is no one driving out here except for locals. This scenic route is perfect for riding at a slow pace and stopping for photos. Great for kids that want to ride on their own.

Move Healdsburg Community Bike Ride
If you are interested in taking your kids out for a bike ride but feel safer in a group, join us Sunday March 8 at 3pm for Move Healdsburg’s Community Bike Ride. We will have ride leaders and van support following. If you need a bike, kid’s bike or kid’s trailer we will have those available for free to use during the ride.
